McCullough Development, Inc. has been in business for over 30 years. The founder of the Company, Jim McCullough, began in architecture and quickly moved into construction and development. Early on he realized how important good management was to the Company’s success by maintaining good residents in the residential properties and securing good tenants in the commercial and retail properties. From our beginning with just a few properties, we have always prided ourselves in caring about our clients and providing good service. This philosophy has served us well over the years as we have grown to currently manage over 2500 residential units and 200,000 sq. ft. of commercial, retail, and office space.

The corporate headquarters is located in Manhattan, Kansas. With Kansas State University nearby, we gained expertise in catering to the college student. We have applied that experience in other university-based properties throughout the midwest. Fort Riley, a major military installation, is also nearby. We manage close to 200 units in that market with additional units under construction. Rounding out our portfolio, we manage about 300 senior and Section 8 independent living units in 7 locations throughout Kansas. This wide range of properties has given us a good understanding and insight into management and keeping our residents happy.

Our commercial, office, and retail operation is involved primarily in Manhattan with locations throughout the city. With our longevity in the region, we have many contacts and relationships which allow us to facilitate most client business needs.
